View of the River Tweed at Dryburgh

Engraving, Size; W.147 H.81 mm. Published 1832.
The River Tweed flows past the Eildon Hills in the far left distance, through the wooded gorge below Bemersyde, and into a great curving sweep around Dryburgh Abbey. On the hillside in the distance just to the right of centre, you can just make out Wallace's Statue.
