"The Lodge is something quite different and just a little bit special."
The Lodge at Ruddyglow Park is a wooden cabin set on a small hillock just to the side of the main house, Ruddyglow Park bed and breakfast. Patricia Filmer Sankey writes:
"I have tried to incorporate as many ecologically friendly touches without compromising, in any way, on luxury and quality. The en-suite bathroom has a massive two meter Villeroy & Boch bath that's just perfect for two! Lovely Marmolium flooring, made from Linseeds, Farrow and Ball wall paints and purely sensual modal towels, which are a blend of natural cotton and Beachwood, thick Christy modal dressing gowns and a selection of organic bathroom products all go to make it a truly wonderful place to stay. The main room is large and airy with beautiful honey gold beams, and pale walls, an ultra-comfortable, king-size bed. There is a small fire for the cold chilly nights, satellite television, DVD player, radio and CD player."
The lodge is warm and cosy in winter too.
The Lodge has has magnificent views over the trees, gardens and Loch Leiter Easaich and from the same big window you can also glimpse Loch Assynt. Leiter Easaich is very pretty loch, great for fishing, or just going out in a boat. Around part of the shoreline there is a good path suitable for walkers of all abilities. Patricia is happy to give advice and ideas about how to make the best of your stay. Fishing permits, and bespoke walking tours and other activities can be arranged.

Luxury pure goose-down duvet, the finest Egyptian cotton sheets, orthopaedic mattress with a medium to firm support.

The bathroom has a bath, power shower over, thick bathrobes and towels, good quality bathroom products, hairdryer and other essential bathroom items.
Breakfast:
It's about a 25 yard walk down to Ruddyglow Park for breakfast.

Breakfast can be as extensive and as substantial as you like. A cooked breakfast with all the trimmings (Venison sausages are a must) or fish, or cheese and cold meat or delicious vegetarian alternatives.
Dinner (optional, advance notice required) is equally home-made and substantial and yummy.
Soups, local deep-dived scallops, venison roasts, trifles and puddings.
Patricia is an excellent and intuitive cook and she uses mostly organic and local produce. You will be well looked after!

For sporting guests there is a drying room, rod room, secure gun cabinet and freezer available.
No smoking inside, but allowed in the garden.
No pets inside, please, - but the outdoor kennel can be used.
