Sandystones and rain cloud

Guy and Philippa Lee warmly welcome guests to stay for bed and breakfast at their family home on their farm between Jedburgh and St Boswells about 90 minutes south of Edinburgh.

It is about two and a half miles from the A68 along a country lane, with wide lawns and a tennis court which guests are welcome to use, mature trees and garden borders and views over the Lees' surrounding farmland.

Edinburgh 40 miles / 65 km
Newcastle 55 miles / 90 km
Berwick 35 miles / 55 km
Melrose 7 miles / 11 km
Jedburgh 7 miles / 11 km
St Boswells 4 miles / 6 km

The first thing that strikes you is how beautiful the countryside is around here - yet almost completely undiscovered by visitors. In spite of being hidden away it is easily accessible for exploring all parts of the Scottish Borders and makes an ideal base for visiting all the medieval abbeys, castles and country houses for which this part of Scotland is so famous.

Drawing room

Guy and Philippa are very happy for guests to walk around the farm. They have a fine suckler herd of Aberdeen Angus, a large flock of organic free range Columbian Blacktail hens, as well as Kune Kune pigs (originally from New Zealand) and llamas.

Also on the farm is a fabulous riverside walk which goes for one and a half miles along the Ale Water - just the thing for a stroll in the evening or first thing in the morning before breakfast...
