Very central for travelling in Scotland:
Edinburgh, Stirling and St Andrews within an hour's drive. Perth 10 miles.
The Old Manse has those fine and balanced proportions characteristic of the best Scottish vernacular architecture in the Georgian period. Built in the late 1820s as the residence for the minister of Arngask church, today it is the home of Joanna and Duncan Cameron who have set aside two bedrooms and warmly welcome guests to stay for bed and breakfast.
Although conveniently only a few miles from the main Edinburgh - Inverness road (M90, A9), the Old Manse is secluded and quiet, separated from the road by the ridge of a hill and surrounded by beautifully kept lawns and garden.
Joanna and Duncan can help advise where is the best place to eat in the evening. There are some good restaurants and pubs within a 5 or 6 mile radius, and also in Perth just ten miles away.
