Falconry Scotland: Birds of Prey

Julie Saleh of Falconry Scotland, is one of Scotland's well known falconers and is at the leading edge of today's modern falconry.

Falconry Scotland directed by Julie, which is based at the Jedforest Deer and Farm Park near Jedburgh in the Scottish Borders, recreates the spectacle of flight. Eagles, hawks, falcons, eagle owls and smaller owls can all be seen flying during the open season.

All birds of prey are domestic bred within Scotland.

"One of the memorable experiences you will gain from being with these magnificent raptors is the chance to fly some of our friendly favourites. This may be a hawk or even one of our eagle owls. Younger children can also fly some of our smaller owls, providing insight into the life of raptors."

Julie offers many experiences with her birds. You will find Hawk Walks, Half day Hawking and Full day Hawking, all available by pre-booking and with the use of Gift Vouchers.
