Scotland
Alan and Pat Young's house nestling on the edge of woods below 3284 ft Beinn a Bheithir (pronounced ben vair) is exceptionally comfortable, and a very convenient bed and breakfast both for touring and passing through, or for staying a few days to explore the area. Scotland's highest mountain, Ben Nevis, and Glencoe, Fort William, the ferry port of Oban and the miriad inlets and islands of this part of the West Coast are all nearby.
For dinner, there are several good places to eat within 5 minutes drive of the house, and if you wish to stretch your legs when you arrive there is an amazing walk behind the house with more wonderful views.
At Ardno House there's every attention to detail, and Alan and Pat are very welcoming.
