You are are very welcome to stay for bed and breakfast in The Garden Lodge (right) which the Urquhart family have built in the garden behind their hotel, the Kildonan Lodge Hotel (below left).
Three bedrooms all with bathrooms en suite are available and there is a comfortable and spacious living room for relaxing, and a conservatory where you can have breakfast. It is quiet and secluded with an enclosed garden lawn ideal for children.
Easily accessible from the A1, A68 or A7 roads into Edinburgh, The Garden Lodge is on a frequent bus route into the centre of town. Buses are regular and take about 10 to 15 minutes to the Royal Mile and Princes Street. A great advantage is that if you are coming by car, there is free off-road parking just outside the Lodge.
Guests are also welcome in the Hotel, a very comfortable Victorian villa, where there is a lounge with an honesty bar.

Breakfast is served in the conservatory - which also has double doors on to the garden.
There is buffet side-table with a choice of fruit juices, grapefruit segments, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cheese, oatcakes and cereals, tea, freshly filtered coffee, hot chocolate and iced water.
Orders are taken for porridge and toast, and you can also choose a full Scottish Breakfast with eggs (fried poached scrambled or boiled), bacon, sausage, tomato and mushrooms and potato scones. Haggis and Kippers also available!
Tariff:
Prices range between from £39.50 and from £97.50 per person per night, based on two people sharing a room, and including breakfast.
