Sabrina makes a generous cooked Scottish breakfast or a Continental breakfast with the best ingredients and sourced as locally as possible, including eggs (cooked as you like) from Sabrina's happy hens who roam freely around the garden.
Also fruit juice and plum compôte, porridge, homemade muesli and yoghurt, toast and marmalade and jam, oatcakes and honey, tea, or herb tea, and coffee. All the good things to set you up for the day!
Special dietry provisions can easily be catered for - but please give advance notice.
Sabrina can make you a picnic lunch - if Finglen is your home- base for a hike or expedition this is especially recommended.
There are several good restaurants about 10 minutes drive away.
Tariff:
£85 per double room per night, for 2 people, including breakfast.
£50 per room per night for a single person in a double room, including breakfast.
Children welcome, and a further single bedroom is sometimes available.
No pets in the house please, and no smoking please.

Map of the area:
Directly from Finglen you can walk for 8 hours without encountering a road. Recommended is the walk to Earl's Seat in the Campsie Fells (2 hours there, 2 hours back) where on a clear day you may see great distances: Loch Lomond (northwards) and Arthur's Seat (in Edinburgh) and the outline of Ailsa Craig (island in the Irish Sea).
