Lynturk Home Farm

Aberdeenshire
Scotland
A haven of rural peace only 20 minutes' drive from Aberdeen Airport
Lynturk farmhouse is John and Veronica Evans-Freke's family home, secluded and surrounded by 300 acres of woodland, fields and pasture in central Aberdeenshire, only 30 minutes from Aberdeen. (Aberdeen airport is only a 20 minute drive).
The old part of the house is built of granite, solid and Georgian, built in fact in 1762 by Veronica's McCombie ancestors. The later wing is linked by a magnificent double height gallery and stairs to the bedrooms.
John and Veronica very much welcome their bed and breakfast guests as friends, and whether you stay for one night or several days you will feel equally at home. This is the part of Scotland for visiting castles, gardens, whisky distilleries and ancient standing stones, so you could happily use Lynturk as a base, and Veronica has lots of local knowledge to help.
